Beginning my creative journey as a Visual Merchandiser at Myer Melbourne, I discovered both a love of visual storytelling and a deep personal connection to art. Throughout different stages of my life, painting became a place of solace and expression.
After relocating from Sydney to the coastal beauty of Malua Bay four years ago and retiring, I was able to fully rediscover and immerse myself in my artistic practice.
Working primarily in acrylic, I am drawn to big, bold colours and richly layered texture. My practice is diverse and intuitive, spanning mixed media works and handmade cards that incorporate collage, textiles, ink, organic materials, vintage vinyl covers, newspapers, and hand-prepared papers. Each piece is different — fun, vibrant, and tactile — inviting viewers to explore depth, contrast, and unexpected combinations of material and form.
